These are my two favorite art works I produced over the summer. They are both taken in Haiti, where I stayed for 10 days working in a local school. The first one is off of the coast of where we stayed looking in to a dock. The second one was taken at an orphanage in Port Au Prince. The girls' name is Jaqunica, she was the only one who spoke Spanish and the only one I could communicate with. She translated for me, so I could tell the other kids who were there, why I have a metal leg, and that I was OK. She was amazing and really opened my eyes.
